New Orleans is a city I can’t escape from. In the past five years, for one reason or another, I’ve ended up there 4 times. I’ve come to have love and disdain for every trip.
On my last trip, I found myself with a free day from production and decided to make use. Exploring from Magazine St. back to the French Quarter with just my 35mm camera to keep me company, I found myself in awe of the city. I followed only my nose, and good light, stopping only for crawfish, a beer, and a nice conversation.
When I got home and looked back at the photos, I found myself missing the city. Missing the energy, the pleasant people, and that good light. These photos bring me warmth. I hope fate brings me back.
